As for a quick tip:  I know there are some of you who HATE using quicktime like I do, as it sometimes invades the startup registry (or other annoyances).  Instead, use this codec/app  to feel more at home when you encounter *.mov media. It will let you download the .mov's, view with the Quicktime player, or with your Windows Media Player or Media Player Classic.  Oh, by the way, make sure you pick up the K-lite Codec Pack , an ABSOLUTE NECESSITY for everyone with a new PC.

2008 Spinoff [wikipedia]:

A second spinoff from the show, focusing on a family from Kansas who will move to Beverly Hills when their grandmother suffers from alcohol addiction, is in the works. It will air on the CW in the fall of 2008. This new series is currently being called 90210 removing the "Beverly Hills" from the title to distance itself from the previous incarnation.

Lori Loughlin has already been placed on contract as a regular cast member, and it is known that Jennie Garth will reprise the role of Kelly Taylor and play a guidance counselor at West Beverly. Ian Ziering is lobbying to return as Steve Sanders. According to a CW press release on May 27th, Tori Spelling will make a comeback as well. Her character Donna Martin-Silver will own a boutique in Beverly Hills. Shannen Doherty is also returning to reprise her role as Brenda Walsh. It has not been determined for how many episodes any of the returning characters will appear in at this time.

Christina Moore has been cast in a recurring role on CW's 90210 reboot. Moore will play Tracy Bennett, the sexy mama of sexy daughter Naomi Bennett (Nip/Tuck's AnnaLynne McCord). The CW is describing her as a "Beverly Hills MILF," which I'm sure brings her former acting coaches all kinds of warm, fuzzy feelings.

You remember Moore from such popular television programs as Hot Properties and That '70s Show (she played the second Laurie Forman). She also has appeared in such major motion pictures as Delta Farce and Without a Paddle. Oddly, she kind of reminds me of a younger version of Ann Gillespie, who played Kelly Taylor's blowsy ma Jackie in the original series, so there is a certain logic to this casting. (Gillespie has also signed on to reprise her role in the new series.)

Fun fact! She actually appeared on an episode of Beverly Hills, 90210 back in the day doing fine, fine work as "Sexy Anchor." — Mickey O'Connor
