Like some of you out there, I really miss Stage6. It was the holy grail for HD movies, clips, and (...for many others...) hd porn and hentai. Now that it's gone, there hasn't been any good replacements (that i've heard of at least) that have taken its place. Youtube is definitely not the solution with their crappy ass quality, but as of recently, they have begun putting effort in displaying higher quality video. However, not all of the Youtube videos have the option for you to "Watch in High quality." Here's the quick way to work around it: When watching a video, add the following to the end of your url in your address bar of the YT video you're watching: &fmt=18 so that it looks like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jL7chMYuRt0&fmt=18 Want to see it in action? Check out the IGN logo in the corner, and the sound quality: Without fmt=18 With fmt=18 Neat, huh? There's also a little handy bookmark that you could use here to make it quicker for you. Just remember, not all Youtube videos will be higher quality. Also, to watch a youtube in fuller screen (for certain purposes like embedding) , just change the formatting from this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jL7chMYuRt0to this http://www.youtube.com/v/jL7chMYcouiuRt0indicated by the red. You'll see a huge difference when you try it. |
